I firmly believe that each of us who is born “different” was made that way for a very special purpose! My port wine stain birthmark and Sturge-Weber Syndrome led me to become a therapist who works with kids with autism. Being different means I can more easily understand others who are different.

My biggest struggle has been learning to love myself, and to care less about the judgment of others based on my appearance. I love to support others in learning to love themselves more as well.
