Default f/u from my hubby's first treatment and 2nd treatment

HI all,

well things got much worse before they got better

after a few days of Icing, he ended up with tons of small blood blisters, which did end up oozing and with some bleeding. then crusting and scabbing.

now 2 wks later ther are some dry spots, and the corner of his mouth tends to crust up a little, but over all I think that his cheek, which was dark purple and thinkened has lightened slightly and noticably thinner.

Last week he had his chest done, the doctor really listen to our reports of the first treatment reaction and back off on the intensity, plus his chest is lighter.

with his chest he had much less discomfort, and no blistering. it took about 650 pulses to cover the chest/neck area ( the 1st treatment was 777 pulses for his face)

also he tired LXM prior to the treatment. about 1.5 hr ahead and we rub it in about every 15 min until it was all absorbed. he found it gave him significant relief from the "rubber band snaps" in most areas, a few spot still hurt. but he wasn't grabbing the arms of the chair and grinding his teeth thru out as he did the 1st time.

we have a different pain reliever on the way for the next treatment. I'll let you know what he says.

Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry he had a rough time. Tell him we are all thinking of him.

(Also make sure to keep the treated area well lubricated with the ointment the doctor recommended.)

Please continue to keep us posted.
