Our daughters one looked pretty similar. She is almost one year old now. We have had no treatment and it no longer looks as red as earlier. The first change was probably that the outer redder vessels no longer looked different to the inner parts and then the grey parts were more flesh coloured. It is a bit like watching paint dry however as the changes week to week are not really noticable at all after the rapid earlier changes like you have seen.
