Default Rough dry spot on cavernous hemangioma

Hey all, I'm writing because I'm afraid that my daughter's hemangioma may be ulcerating. In the last few weeks she has developed a localized very dry patch of skin in the middle of her hemangioma. I thought it was cradle cap at first but it's a lot thicker than that and I'm afraid that if I try to remove it the hemangioma will bleed. Has anyone else experienced this? I've looked everywhere on the internet and found nothing. Please help. I've worried myself sick over this and the pediatrician wants to wait and see. Thank you!

Can you post a photo of it? Has the hemangioma changed color or texture anywhere else?

If you could post a pic, you'll find someone here to give you an opinion.

Also, where are you located? If you are not comfortable with a wait and see approach, maybe we can get you to a specialist.

And.... go to and send that photo to one of our experts.
