Default Nasal Tip Hemangioma: surgery is soon!

My daughter is 12 months. We will schedule her surgery on Monday. Has anyone gone through the surgery and recovery of a NTH? If so I would love to hear from you & see before and after pics. I am dreading it!

Hi and welcome!

It will be alright. Although they don't post anymore (because their birthmark issues are mostly resolved) I've seen a lot of kids go through this surgery and come out just great! They usually fare better than their parents!

How soon are you thinking?

I was browsing back through old posts about nasal tip hemangiomas and didn't know if this thread would be helpful to you:

So I thought I'd just pass it along. My daughter had surgery on her upper lip hemangioma and I was a nervous wreck-but she did awesome and the results were great. I know how hard it is. Hang in there!
