So I would def pursue surgery. My five month old had surgery Monday to remove an ulcerated hemiangioma. After that idk y any child has to live with a birthmark or even go through all the meds they do. In a thirty minute procedure its all gone and wont come back ever, unlike the meds they use. There is a timeline on which they can operate, for zoies doctor the birthmark has to be in growth phase for them to do surgery. This means if I took the wait and see approach, she would be past that phase. It is your child, so its really up to u. To me surgery is soooooooooooooooooooo worth it. Just less than a week after u can't even see incision or scar. Zoie is soo much happier and has for the first time slept all night which she has never done.
