Can someone tell me if this is true?
sounds very discouraging.

Venular (Portwine Stain) - head and neck area common site. At birth, color is pink, deep red at puberty, and dark purple by age 30. The sequence of timing varies. Ultimately, ALL (this cant be true) portwine stains thicken and form cobblestones.

Did you receive an answer to your question? If not, click on the link "If you think you or you child has a port wine stain Click Here"(which appears on the right side of the home page of this site), read what it is said on the subject and then e-mail your question to "Ask the doctor". Also, I wanted to tell you that there have been interesting medical progresses done in the last ten to twenty years and that by the time you get "old" treatments will have improved furthermore. Take good care.
