Default Alone No More

I live in a small town in South Carolina. I am 30 yrs. old. I also have a venous malformation of the right side of my face. Growing up was tough. School kids (not all of them) can be very harsh and there are adults who are worse. I have been laughed at, stared at, and left out of activities due to my appearance. No matter how hard I tried to be brave and patient, the tears would always win. I have always felt like I was the only one suffering from this medical condition. It was nice to find this site and realize there are people who know exactly what I am going through. To those who read this, you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is open for new friendships and I am an excellent listener if you need a sounding board. Feel free to send an instant message or some e-mail. Be sure to put something in the subject line pertaining to this particular website. Thanks! God bless!
