For more than 40 years I have been working as a vascular surgeon and treating congenital vascular malformations, especially in children, and I know the distress this can cause to patients and their families. People from all over the world travel to visit me at the Facharztklinik Hamburg [Hamburg Specialist Medical Clinic], as they have not been able to find help elsewhere. In cooperation with me, Dr. C. Gebhardt (specialist for vascular surgery) is avaible for you. By as early as the initial examination, we can offer encouragement to the majority of those affected, as congenital vascular malformations can almost always at least be positively influenced during the course of treatment, or even significantly improved.
