I hope you will join us for the 2020 Annual VBF Vascular Birthmarks, Anomalies, and Syndromes Conference & Clinic at the New York Laser and Skin Surgery Center, now set for Saturday, December 12, 2020 (rescheduled from September 26 due to COVID).
Our international family conference is the only one of its kind in the world. We offer lectures from the top experts in the field on the latest in research and treatment options, as well as individual clinic appointments with our multidisciplinary team of expert specialists who provide an informal diagnosis and treatment plan to every patient.
Our conference serves individuals with any type of vascular birthmark, anomaly or syndrome including hemangiomas, port-wine stain birthmarks, lymphatic malformations, arteriovenous malformations, venous malformations, KTS, PHACES, CLOVES, CMTC, and Sturge-Weber Syndrome, among all others. We turn no-one away.
We are thankful that our host, Dr. Roy G. Geronemus of the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York, has offered his private practice for a full-day event on Saturday that will include the clinics, as well as FREE LASER TREATMENT for the first eligible families to register. Dr. G’s experienced team has enacted the absolute latest in COVID-19 Protocols and his office will be open only to VBF Conference attendees for the entire day on Saturday. Masks will be provided for all our guests and social distancing guidelines will be in place for your safety.
We are also working hard on plans to offer dental and orthodontic exams for those qualified, insurance support, psychotherapy support, birthmark support networking opportunities, and professional make-up tutorials.
Thanks to our sponsors, we will also grant a FREE HOTEL ROOM on Friday, December 11 for the first eligible families to register. We will secure hotel rooms individually for our guests who need them closer to the event.
In the event that an in-person event is not possible this year, we are working hard on a “PLAN B” VIRTUAL track to ensure that registered guests can access our essential services. While we know a virtual option will never replace meeting others with vascular birthmarks in-person, we hope it will serve your immediate access needs if we are unable to be together in person this year. This is our way of honoring our longtime commitment to turning no-one away.
At our 2018 International family conference in New York, we welcomed over 300 people, provided over one hundred individual clinic appointments, granted over 75 free hotel rooms, and made possible at least 42 free laser treatments.
The Coronavirus will not stop us from achieving our mission of providing the critical access to services that you deserve. Dr. Linda started that mission 26 years ago and this year has only affirmed our commitment to achieving it.
Please visit our VBF Conference Landing Page for updates and complete details about the event and email us at email@example.com with absolutely any questions. Our VBF Family looks forward to serving you this year more than ever!
