I was born with a lower lip hemangioma and I have had seven cosmetic surgeries to remove the benign mass and improve the appearance of my mouth. I was bullied growing up and had very low self esteem. My parents, plastic surgeon, and friends helped to boost my confidence and transform myself into the person I am today.

VBF has encouraged me to be more open about my past experiences and has shown me that there are people in this world who I can connect with through this foundation who understand me and my condition.
