The Vascular Birthmarks Foundation's International Day of Awareness (May 15th) is a time to share our stories and spread hope!

We hope you will join us in raising awareness and funds by participating in the first MARKED FOR GREATNESS 5K Walk/Run in Vestal, NY on May 13, 2017 at 10:00AM. https://www.facebook.com/events/320693441662716/permalink/367387850326608/

Jyl Fletcher is organizing this 5K to honor her almost 7-year-old daughter Kayla. Jyl explains, "Kayla was born with a port wine stain birthmark and the Vascular Birthmarks Foundation has helped our family a lot. We are hoping to spread acceptance and awareness for birthmarks while helping other families through the VBF."

This is a USATF certified 5K with officical results and awards. There will be live music, refreshments, and a free kids run. Registration is open at MarkForGreatness5K.Eventbrite.com. Paper registrations are available at TripleCitiesRunnersClub.org. For questions, please call 607-221-3727

Come out for a great cause and have fun! If you can't join the 5K in Vestal, that's okay. You can still help them reach their $5000 goal by donating through their Marked For Greatness Team page.

Thank you for helping the VBF - Changing Lives One Mark at a Time.
